One of the most common causes of stomach pain seems to be associated with digestion, so people are always looking for ways to relieve stomach pain. Obviously, the natural way is more healthy and also offers you the potential for permanent relief, not enjoyed with suppressive medication.
Pain is a medical anathema! It can’t be proved to exist by any tests, by any blood work. It can’t be seen or touched. It can’t be seen under a microscope, viewed in an X ray or identified from a scan. It is unscientific! Yet pain killers are a huge industry. What gives? Are they saying pain is psychosomatic? Are they saying people are hypochondriacs?
I’m not sure how well these labels would be accepted by most people. Most people know only too well what pain feels like, including the scientists. So does that mean medical science is unscientific?
Leaving that aside for the moment, let’s examine the topic of pain and how to relieve stomach pain in particular.
Pain is your body’s alarm system working to alert you to a serious problem. There would have been other, less invasive signs, trying to alert you, which you probably ignored. Now, it’s impossible to ignore the pain. It’s got to a point where you will take it seriously, where you will do something. The pain has a purpose!
But medical tests may well reveal nothing, as they often cannot indicate a problem until it has manifested. So you are prescribed pain killers. Pain killers may make your life bearable, but they are not healing. Instead they suppress your body’s alarm system. In effect, they cut the warning light wire.
This means the problem is still there, but now getting worse. One day, you will be in serious trouble.
However, you do have a choice. You can take your body’s warning signs seriously and start to consider what it is trying to tell you. Perhaps you are eating a food which your body can’t digest, but you enjoy. Perhaps you are eating too much or too quickly. Perhaps you are anxious when you are eating. There are so many different reasons why you may have stomach pain. But you probably already have an inkling.
In spiritual circles, pain is considered to be resistance. Having traveled some way on my spiritual path and experienced pain, as does everyone, I can testify to this idea. When you stop resisting (and take appropriate action if necessary), the pain does disappear.
But not everyone is on a spiritual path, or wants to be.
Instead, they simply want to be rid of the pain so they can get on with life. And one of the best ways to achieve this is to seek homeopathic treatment. Homeopathy is a holistic form of medicine that can delve to depths other health care models can only dream about.
